North Italia is one of my go to places and I like to go there, in spite of them making one wait a while to be seated even when they're not busy. It makes no sense. On Saturday they made us wait for 10 minutes after we arrived before seating us, even though the place was only 10% full, and there were only a couple of others waiting to be seated. The when we were seated it took another 10 minutes before anyone came to serve us. Well we had two different and distinct experiences that evening. We arrived for our reservation and requested a specific restaurant location and it was granted. Our waiter was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. The food was excellent and the service provided was also top notch. On the other hand, we ordered food to go for our family at home. Half of our order was completed on time. The two pizzas for our grandchildren, we were told, were mistakenly taken by another waiter for another customer so we were going to have to wait. The food was delicious. Unfortunately there was some issues with the food coming out in a timely manner. We requested all the food come out at the same time. We were already done with our appetizers and pizza by the time the pasta came out. Luckily wewere doing family style but if we had ordered our own entree the food would've gotten cold by the time the pasta came out. Ourserver also wasn't the most attentive. I saw him and a few others texting throughout our time there. All in all I would comeagain because of how good the food is for the price. Left a note ahead of time about how it was our first anniversary. Would’ve expected a little bit more over the top service. I mentioned my wife was pregnant. Would’ve been nice to have been treated a little differently since it was our very first anniversary. But it’s okay. Food was good. Like the truffle garlic bread.

I usually get the bolognese, but last night it tasted a little bland than usual. Overall, the experience was amazing and the meatballs are still delicious.
I absolutely love this place it’s my favorite place and I visit them all over the place, specially in Austin Texas loooove it
Our server was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back!
