Nossa Aldeia Bakery

Although I live in California, I come to visit NJ annually family every Easter. When I'm here, I'm trying to find some time to sneak a car to the bakery to get some baked goods. I was lucky this year and had a chance to stop. You have pretty good Portuguese baked goods here. I chose a few things to try and was not disappointed. As you can see below, I got some egg tarts, a tart I think she said was like a custard tart, a piece of chocolate cake, a piece of napolean, and 3 meat cakes, I know that a chicken and a beef was, I think. Great little bakery/restaurant. I usually just stop in for a coffee but today my girlfriend ordered a cappuccino, ham and cheese sandwich, and a pastry. The coffee is always fantastic and the food was just as excellent! A great spot for a quick bite and the best place for espresso in the area.

Beautiful small café type of place! Enjoy a late lunch and everything I ordered was fantastic! Pleasantly surprised how cozy this place is and how good the food is.

The pastries were always great. Just like at home. I like this better than the same from Newark NJ
