the manager and the hostess were wonderful. the atmosphere was great. the server immediately asked what we wanted and we immediately got water. But when we were ready to order the waiting staff never came back to check on our table. we had to fly them down, even though they were not so busy. my date had ordered a beer and it was left at the bar that was picked up for 20 minutes. we had to ask them to get it. it is regrettable. eating was not the best I had there. I love her Cobb salads and it was missing last night.
not her average joes is a visit to the restaurant for me. close to home and eating is great. something for everyone on their menu. the prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. we had a wonderful server and everything came out as ordered. we sat on the bar side and it was loud, but not bad. very comfortable sitting on the window. when they meet friends or family, they give joes a try.
Great food and drink selections, the new menu items are a solid addition. Try the French Onion burger! Special shout-out to 2 people in particular. Great job Priscilla: when my toupee flew off my head you dove across the floor and saved it. Allison: thank you for gluing my dentures back into place. You are both awesome.
NYAJ in Westwood has significantly improved in the past few months. It has returned to a well run, great service and great food place. I recommend and will go back again. At this particular visit, I was pressed for time. Our server was extremely accommodating and the food was very good

as usual we were warmly welcomed by the host and our server. we have always enjoyed our culinary experience at not your average joes the greeting, service and eating are consistently very good.
I stole my mom here for birthday dinner. Mom ordered a cheeseburger, “Very Good Done”. when it arrived, appeared carburized outside, but inside was still almost raw. appetit lost
If you sit in a booth, expect to be bumped by the person behind you all dinner long. This happened to me the last 2 times I ate there. NOT a relaxing dinner environment.
The restaurant was freezing and our dinners were barely warm. A hot meal should be served hot!
