I will not be returning.In my experience, Ian Alpert (the CPA) has been unresponsive and curt.Worst of all, he forgot to file my tax return this past year.I paid $500 for a tax filing, yet Mr. Alpert never filed my return. It had been over three months.Had I not followed up with Mr. Alpert, my return would have never been filed. He has not provided a reason for the delay of my return (he won’t respond to my communications).He never returns my calls, and he seldom responds to my emails. My experience with Ian and his team was fantastic. This was my first year using an accountant, and I realized it was long overdue, as Notchbooks made tax season incredibly straightforward. They have an efficient process that can accommodate even the most complex tax situations. Additionally, they were excellent at returning phone calls and addressing my questions. Even though they operate entirely remotely, I felt I received much more personalized service and valuable recommendations than I've experienced elsewhere. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic tax preparation. Ian took us through the whole tax sheet on zoom. And answered our questions without rolling his eyes. I think it's the first time I understand the tax filing thing. Very fast and great communication. I kinda can't wait to do taxes again. Highly recommend.

Ian is great. VERY fast, VERY easy. It will cost you, but it’s worth it. I’d say you get what you pay for and Ian delivers on all counts. Plus, he’s Ramsey recommended, and that piece of mind is worth every penny.
The restaurant was unresponsive to both email and phone inquiries. The only time Ian will engage with you is when he is presenting your bill. The establishment also failed to be transparent about their pricing.
