We were staying at the airport Westin and wanted to grab something to eat close by that wasn?t a chain. A Google search indicated this was super close to our hotel and the menu looked good. It was like 3 5 minutes from our hotel. Our reservation was at 6:45, we were seated around 7, placed our order, and the food arrived at 7:45. It was well worth the wait! Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. My daughter had the Cajun pasta and it was the creamiest pastaI?ve ever tasted. I had the seafood and grits and it was delicious the stone ground grits were creamy and rich and the seafood was spiced perfectly. The presentation was also decadent truly a feast for all the senses. My eleven year oldis a picky eater, so the wings and waffle fries were a perfect choice. The waffle fries were probably the best I?ve ever had. Not too salty, but seasoned with something in addition to salt. They were crispy and not at all soggy. My husbandis the pickiest eater of all, and he ordered the lamb. I think it was supposed to come with Mac n cheese, but it came with mashed potatoes. THOSE POTATOES. The best any of us had ever had. We fought over bites for those potatoes. I alsoordered a slip and slide drink, and I am not a fan of very strong drinks that taste of liquor, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was as sweet and drinkable. It was also pretty strong. The cocktail menu looked delicious, but one of thesemixed drinks was enough for me. The only negative in our experience, besides the wait for food (which was ultimately worth it! , was that we ordered an appetizer that never came. It was fine in the end, because we were full. Finalverdict: great food, definitely worth the price and the wait.
