Silver Diner - Réservation de table

My husband and I visited this diner 3 times while we were in the area. Twice for dinner and once for breakfast. We were seated promptly. The tables were disinfected and they put up plastic panels between the booths. The servers were very friendly and courteous and you can tell the staff bonds well together. I saw some of them singing together. Very nice to see and I think it makes it a place where the staff actually want to come to work. The first night I had a small cobb salad and they removed what I didn’t want. I thought it was overdressed but I should have asked for dressing on the side, my fault. Truth be told, I am not one for the hot spicy. So when I saw the Shrimp Grits with those words, I was a bit tentative, but as I love shrimp grits almost never have the opportunity to eat it. I went ahead. It was awesome!!!! More tomatoey than I have had previously, but delicious. It was SO good I came back the next day had it again! My companion had waffles eggs corned beef hash on our second trip. We both were pleased with our selections, but MINE was better!!! Will absolutely be back the next time I am anywhere close!

The menu offered a fantastic selection of delicious food, all with a classic diner vibe. I tried the BLT, and it was excellent. Each booth even had jukebox selectors at the tables, which added to the atmosphere. The little kid sitting at the table next to me absolutely loved his chocolate milkshake—it was smeared all over his face! Overall, it was definitely worth the price.

I stopped by for breakfast and was really disappointed with the experience. An employee kept raising the music volume to a level that was almost unbearable. Several patrons voiced their complaints about it. While the volume did get turned down a bit, it was still too loud to have a conversation with others at my table without yelling. We've always loved Silver Diner, now even more so since one of us needs to be gluten free. They have LOTS of GF dishes all well marked on their menu. Food is always solid, with plenty of variety. Our favorite restaurant anywhere near Greenbelt. A little on the high side for pricing, but well worth it for good quality food.

The menu was varied and unusual for a diner. You can have regular diner fare or you can have vegan plant based meals. My chicken piccata was lovely. What made this place so amazing was the server. A friendly welcoming young man who made us feel special. I will go back

Cassandra is an excellent and attentive server. This restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and I always enjoy coming here to see her. My experiences at this place are consistently pleasant when she’s serving.

They seemed to do a great job to keep staff and customers safe during this pandemic. Social distance between tables was great to see. Even though we took ours to go, it was good to see. Réservez une table maintenant

Ate here on a road trip through town. Food was excellent and the service was good too. I had the chicken sandwich and it was. So fresh. You don’t get that at many places.
