I wanted to like this restaurant, but unfortunately, I can't. I have only tried their takeout, and often my orders were missing garnishes and toppings. I assume dining in may offer a better experience. The staff tried to provide good customer service by offering to correct the issue, but I was frustrated when they simply told me what was missing, which made my meal inedible. Providing a solution to pick up remade orders did not help delivery customers like myself, as I had paid for delivery for a reason. Despite being promised a gift card, I was instead asked to review my complaint with a different manager. In the end, I decided to stop supporting this restaurant. Overall, I hope others have...
The Berry French Toast was exceptional and really stood out as the highlight of the menu. The chicken wings were flavorful, but I wished they were fried more for a crispier texture. My husband didn't enjoy the waffle very much, and the bacon was limp and not crispy. The coffee had a burnt taste to it. The pancakes were indeed large as described on the menu, but it seemed odd to have such oversized portions for one person at the same price as a waffle. The service was excellent, and the decor was pleasing.
Every time we have came here it’s been Amazing! The service here is always A1 and it’s clean even the rest rooms! The New manager EM is friendly, courteous, helpful to customers and his staff! He always greets you with a smile and never fails to go around and asks the guest how’s everything going and definitely asks about their food! It has been a while since I last visited this restaurant. The atmosphere and ambiance are welcoming. The service was exceptional, very attentive. The food was served promptly, accurately, and at the right temperature. There were no issues regarding the taste and quality of the food. I will definitely return. I went to Milk Honey on 2 different occasions this past week. I enjoyed both. I was afraid they would be busy during both times but that wasn?t the case (Wednesday and Friday Night). The food takes a bit of time to be prepared so patience is a virtue. The hot honey wings were awesome (3 per order). The blackened salmon blt was on point. I was surprised. All around great experience and enjoyed the service during both visits. Highly recommend and it?s a Black Owned Business.
The food is top notch! Everything we ordered tasted great and was well made. It's a small place with nice decor and a great atmosphere. It's well decorated and makes you feel comfortable. Service does need some help. Our waitress was hard to find at times, like for refills, missing items, and issues with the bill. We would often wave down another server. Great food, customer service, and atmosphere. The food I ordered was delicious. The only small complaint per my boyfriend is that the waffles were too thick and heavy of batter but they had great flavor. My fried salmon was soooo good and cooked perfectly. Everything was pretty much on point. I?d recommend to get there before 10am on weekends because it gets really busy. Love this place and would visit again soon.
After waiting for an hour to be seated indoors on a Sunday afternoon, it was evident that the dining capacity had been reduced due to COVID. Despite the wait, the honey lemon pepper wings were amazing! The catfish and grits and salmon Benedict were also quite good. Service was a bit slow, but considering the circumstances, I did not mind. The food at this restaurant is fantastic! We did have to wait about 20 minutes to be seated since we didn't make a reservation. The service was excellent. We enjoyed a brunch meal, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. The food and service both get a 5 rating, while the atmosphere was a 4. We highly recommend trying the Chicken and Waffles and the Salmon and Grits dishes.
