Novaes Jiu Jitsu Academy

I have been training with coach nowaes for 5 years and enjoyed every moment in his gym and the wonderful culture he created for students and their families. coach alex has led me to several master titles and a world champion medal gold. the atmosphere of each class is energetic and positiw with several planes of learning and progress for all. . I recommend to them to begin or continue their Brazilian jiu Jitsu trip with the nowaes jiu jitsu academy.

I studied under Professor Novaes when he was at Fight Forum in La Crescenta. He is hands down the best instructor I have ever had, and I have had quite a few. His attention to detail when demonstrating techniques is truly incredible. Private lessons with him are even better. I am disappointed that I am now far away from the academy. I would love for him to create a video series similar to the Gracie academy, as it would be a fantastic alternative.
