Cannot recommend this place enough! Went for breakfast, place had a great cozy vibe to it; wasn’t super crowded like some cafes in The Lanes. The staff were so friendly and accommodating I have to eat gluten free so had pretty much written off the idea of having decent breakfast options but I was so pleasantly surprised when I was told that all of the pancakes could be made gluten free! Have seen a few reviews complaining about the wait times but our food/drinks were delivered speedily. Food looked and tasted amazing Would definitely come back if ever in Brighton again!
After leaving Nowhere Man today, I came away feeling torn. The pancakes were absolutely incredible. However, from the moment we arrived, until the moment we ate, almost an hour had gone by. We were some of the first people to arrive when it opened, but were told there would be a wait on food, which I thought was strange as we were so early. In the service was as good as the pancakes, this place would be insane. Waiting an hour for pancakes though just isn’t good enough.
We were nearly put off by the reviews that mentioned slow service but am glad we weren’t. Even though it was nearly full when we visited we only had a 20 minute wait for food which I don’t consider too much. The pancakes were lovely and generously topped. Definitely recommend.
Like the title of the cafe, this is slightly off the beaten track but worth it. We had stacked pancakes with maple syrup and bacon/toasted bagels. No delay with the food, service was very good. Would est here again and would definitely recommend the pancakes...

The bagels and pancakes are amazing. I dont think there's anywhere else like it in Brighton! Definitely nowhere else with bagels as good as these. Great coffee as well, it's great when someone can make a decent oat latte!!
The food was tasty but the service was so slow! Took a while to be asked what we wanted to order and then waited 50 minutes for food. At the 45 minute mark the chef said they ran out of rocket for the sandwiches so...
