Overall, this pub/hotel was very nice. The room was pleasant, although it was next to a Lidl. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, although it was a bit disrupted by the smoke alarm going off at 6.30am. The manager even asked me if I had used deodorant, which I found to be a strange question. The room itself was cozy and spacious with an excellent en suite. There wasn't much to do in the area in terms of activities or nightlife. The pub had a friendly atmosphere, but they didn't serve dinner on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Didn’t like the atmosphere, staff didn’t even acknowledge us seemed grumpy. We had a pot of tea for two very bland tea bags only had one tea bag in for a massive pot you could hardly lift! . Tea cakes where fine. Wouldn’t visit again which is a shame as I live in Crewkerne.
