Gemütliches Lokal mit frisch zubereiteten Gerichten. Wir waren an 3 nachfolgenden Tagen hier und haben jeden Tag ein anderes super Menue erhalten. A very poor and embarrassing experience at no42. Two friends visiting Campbeltown and I out for dinner on a Friday evening. Two of us ordered Duck which was served so rare it was inedible. Certainly could not cut through it. Vegetables etc were fine. Fish and chips were lovely. The sweet option on the night was “When life throws you lemons”, which was a selection of four mini sweets which included a sorbet which was the only item that had lemon in it. The rest looked lovely but we’re bland. Did receive an apology from waitress who was lovely if stressed. Appeared to be under staffed for restaurant guests.
