A group of my friends went to this Restaurant for a Surprise Birthday dinner. I chose this restaurant for it's great reviews but what a terrible disappointment this place was, Small portions, Bad service, they forgot to bring a side potion of roast potatoes...with the Lamb dish, Luke warm Coffees and a bad atmosphere due to the first waitress who was absolutely miserable and stomped around our table making us feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Was so excited to visit this upmarket restaurant. Was aware of the very high prices .but the service was appalling . The staff member informed one guest she should go to another restaurant if she does not like the prices. Who says that . ?...The food was delicious. But portions very tiny .Coffee was served cold and one friend received her side after we all had eaten. But she did get it on the house as it was a waste . My friend informed staff about the rude staff member and was just shown the door. We were all made to feel uneasy and in todays world you would think you need customers . We were there on the same night as the other reviewer, Alison L and our experience was totally the opposite of hers. I messed up the online booking (my fault) and the staff bent over backwards to find us a table. Service was impeccable all...night, every staff member was attentive and filled our drinks when required and the food was beautiful (and definitely not overpriced for the quality). We saw the complaint at the end of the night and no-one was shown the door. After witnessing the complaint, I felt the need to let the staff member know that our experience was great and other nearby customers agreed with me. Highly recommended.
We consider dinner out as a total experience incorporating good food, ambiance and service. Nunzios failed on the third category. The female waitress was clearly not interested in us as customers. It pained her to even explain the menu. Then when we finished she didn’t...bother to show us the bill but just told us the amount owed, gave us access to payment and that was it. Sorry but we wouldn’t recommend.

my man and I had the most beautiful meals in Nunzio’s they can taste the love and passion that goes into the well-cooked and presented eating. we had earlier in the week dine on rockpool in the crown resort and it could not hold. a candle to nowzio, would choose nowzio over rockpool every day of the week. it is now my favorite restaurant and I will find any excuse I can go back.
we have booked for a family birthday dinner and had the most incredible time! the personal was beautiful, friendly and so courteous. the food was delicious and the service was amazing. we had such a fabulous night and felt like we were part of the...family, we cannot wait to return! a great thank you to nowzio’s that they make our night so special xoxo
On a wet and windy day in freo we came across this gem of a spot walk from hotel..cosy great atmosphere and food which you need to find for yourself it's tops as is the service..great wines . A must vist can't wait to...come .back if it wasn't so busy...I could have stayed all night..but did not want to hold up a table...
We were recommended to come here for dinner. Quite excited re the menu and the wine list. It has a very nice decor and the tables spaced for privacy. Our waitress was really helpful on the wine and food selection and was very attentive. I’m...not sure that the food was as we had expected but we enjoyed it.

we had a beautiful meal, the ente ravioli was sensationally dressed with a chef specially caramelized rubbed orange. an amazing super decanted vintage red. the service was impeccable. recommend the restaurant for food, service and ambiente.
