The restaurant is located one floor up from the iconic Brunswick Street and is situated in the middle of the busy dining precinct. As soon as you reach the top of the staircase you are focussed on the ambience and setting of the restaurant. You are greeted by the host and proprietor. As you proceed towards the bar and tables, he addresses you in a warm and welcoming manner which he has the biggest of smiles beaming across his face as he says welcome...The menu has many of options available that accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten intolerant and for those that indulge there is a plenty of meats, grills, curry and injera. Everything is delicious and tasty! Strong suggestions would be the combination of meats from various parts of the continent. The dips and mountain bread are a starter that has you excited. The Sambusa's are divine! The banquet's are reasonably priced and have a variety of options and serving sizes available. The bar is stocked with local and imported alcohol including beers from Africa. The service is good, the staff are very accommodating and serviceable and no the food! Cheers to a hearty feed by the people that treasure the time spent with family and friends eating the food they love!
