My only suggestion would be that the waitstaff could have recommended a side of greens, as it would have paired nicely with the meal and added a refreshing touch. The service was a bit slow, but to be fair, I was quite tired that evening. While I usually appreciate a more relaxed pace in a beautifully decorated setting, I found myself wanting a faster service that night.
On a positive note, the chef is fantastic! He is super friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about his craft. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to returning.
Food was eaten far too quickly to take any pictures. This was my second time at Twelve, this time for my dads 60th (we’d had to cancel his party due to Covid). Paulo is so welcoming, offering dishes that aren’t on the menu, making suggestions, pouring aperitifs, generally being so lovely and welcoming. He’s clearly very passionate. They catered for vegetarians and gluten free very well!!! And the pasta del Nata drink at the end is superb. It’s an unusual location and the service is relaxed but it suited us perfectly! Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in southport!
This charming little gem of a restaurant is tucked away from the usual crowds. It's elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. Paulo's menu is absolutely delicious, demonstrating a remarkable attention to detail and a personal touch in the service. I highly recommend paying a visit to this lovely spot.
We had an excellent dining experience, complemented by wonderfully attentive staff. The chef and owner, Paulo, is exceptionally creative—truly a gem. We enjoyed the vegan tasting menu for five, and it was outstanding. We can't wait to return!

First time at Twelve to celebrate my daughter getting a distinction in her 1st year at college. The food is fantastic, so flavoursome. Chef couldn’t be more attentive or caring. Will definitely be going back again!
