I have to give it to the staff on Sunday, in particular Kailey S. for advocating for our party of 7. We got there at 1pm after a high school graduation ceremony and the brunch menu was presented to us. Our graduate had her heart set on the smash burger and her parents on the Mac n cheese specials, so we were disappointed at first when told we had to order from the brunch menu. We were going to leave, but thankfully Kailey pleaded our case to her kitchen and manager and we were allowed to order from the lunch menu as an exception and the meal was FANTASTIC. Thank you to the whole Oak Barrel team for making our visit exceptional!
This was my first visit to Oak Barrel Public House. My party of four chose this restaurant because of its proximity to the PAC. We dined here before catching the Moulin Rouge show. The experience was enjoyable - the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and our server, Adriana, was very friendly. After the show, we decided to head back to Oak Barrel for some cocktails at the bar. The bartender, Eddie, was fantastic and entertaining, so we ended up staying for a while, indulging in some appetizers and just hanging out. It was a very pleasant evening overall.
The food at this restaurant was exceptional! I ordered the Oak Barrel Signature Burger with garlic aioli, and it was delicious. My wife tried the Bacon Mac and Cheese, which was full of flavor. She did encounter a piece of fatty bacon, but that can happen sometimes. We would definitely order these dishes again. The service was fantastic too! We came here before a show in the theater district and walked over and back.
This restaurant is always busy, but the service is excellent. We tried the cheese curds, pretzel sticks, and various main dishes. We also decided to order the Oak Barrel old fashioned cocktail. The food was absolutely delicious, although we ended up ordering too much. The drinks were also very good. Our server, Arianna, took really good care of us. Thank you for a great experience! We had a really great time there last night! Kailey S. was our server and did an amazing job! Very attentive, super quick with refills on drinks, and fun! It was my wife’s son’s 25th birthday, and we had a large party, but she was definitely on her A game. AND we even gave her a piece of our homemade cheesecake. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
