I visited Oak House Mexican Kitchen for the first time last night and noticed it was quite busy on a Friday evening, so I suggest booking a reservation. The restaurant’s interior is stunning. We tried the guacamole and the Streets of Mai appetizer, both of which were tasty. For our mains, the fish taco and mango chicken fajitas were outstanding. Our server was attentive and offered great service. I definitely recommend exploring more new restaurants opening in Floral Park.
food was delicious. especially liked the carnitas taco. warning for people who cant handle any spicy food. their chicken option is chipotle. it's delicious but my friend was dying ???? but again she cant handle any spice at all. they are a actually openfrom 4pm. We walked in around 3:20 not knowing they opened later than what was listed on their website, but they were nice andlet us order anyway. We got the food for take out.
Good Mexican restaurants are pretty easy to come across nowadays. But this place is great! A modest selection but everything's done superbly. Plus a good drink menu to boot while you dine in the cozy, intimate atmosphere. Just be aware that it can be a little pricey. And if you're planning to go Friday or Saturday nights you might want to call for a reservation; this place is tiny a can fill up mighty quick.

Went in for lunch today. Server was friendly. I had burrito and friend has tacos. The fries that came with my order was perfect, crispy on outside and not over cooked. The burrito was yummy. Good mix of ingredients so that no bite was too dry.
The best Mexican food in the area!!! The food and bar is absolutely incredible and the service is always super quick and spot on! The owners and staff are the best people you?ll find around! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!!
I plan to keep coming back. The vibe here is like being in Brooklyn or Greenwich village NYC. They have a great playlist of Hispanic music and a selection of all kinds of Mexican cuisine. The enchiladas are on point! Service is excellent.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I tried the spinach and mushroom enchiladas with mole sauce, and they were fantastic. The guacamole was the best I've ever had—definitely a must-try! Réservez une table maintenant
