Oban Fish And Chip Shop

Last night in Oban, my friends and I decided to take a stroll along the waterfront despite the rain. After a while, we couldn't resist the tempting smell of hot chips and decided to grab a quick snack. The staff behind the counter were friendly and shared some information about their business with us. We ended up trying haggis, black pudding, and of course, some chips. Despite the lack of fish, the meal was delicious and the chips were especially good. We noticed a picture of Rick Stein on the wall praising the fish and chips, so we knew we were in for a treat. We happily ate our snacks as we continued along the waterfront, planning to return for dinner later that evening.

Wow! Definitely the best fish and chips we have ever hadsimply outstandinghighly recommend this place. Full disability access throughout and disabled toilets available. Parking spaces are available in nearby car park. Can’t recommend this place enough! . After reading numerous outstanding reviews, I was eager to give this restaurant a try. However, I felt like I was intruding and the fish didn't seem very fresh, making me think they may have been having a bad day. On a positive note, the tartar sauce was excellent and the location was easy to locate. In terms of service, takeout, and atmosphere, I would rate them all a 2 out of 5.
