The restaurant is located in a small complex off of Waterbury Stowe Road, opposite the Fairfield Inn. The complex is at the bottom of a steep driveway going downhill. There's signage on the street but between needing to concentrate on the road and small lettering, very easy to miss. Once you make it to the restaurant, the ambience is inviting, with traditional paintings, decorations and motifs. You want to see and especially taste the authenticity of Vermont Thai food, you need to come here. We were staying at Sumggler's Notch and needed some NYC spice and flavor in our food. It was about 30 to 40 mins from where we were, BUT it was so worth the drive. We came here twice during our stay at the Notch. I cannot give an entire review based solely on my chosen entree of Basil Duck. If I did, it would be lower the 3 stars. However, I'm going to focus on the positive first. I tried the Drunken Noodles with Chicken (the other table mate) and found that entree to be very tasty. My choice of appetizer was the Fresh Roll, however they were out. So, the decision of Spring Rolls was made. It was would you would expect. I only wished there was more duck sauce that accompanied. The Basil Duck was very spicy. While it may appear quiet at times, I often visit this restaurant because their Thai food is some of the best I've had. It exceeded my expectations for a small town in Vermont. I recommend trying their fried rice or curries. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to any food requests.

I had the crab meet fried rice with shrimp and a fried egg it was heaven! Other items I tried, like papaya salad and Thai iced tea, were delicious. Portions were very generous, and I was able to take the rest home for the next day. Will definitely return!
The food was delicious and the service was friendly! I wished I could have gone back the next day before leaving Waterbury. We tried the Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, Garlic Beef, and Tofu with Broccoli, and all of it was delicious.
The food and service were pretty good. I ordered the pineapple fried rice. The meal was fresh and the portion size was very filling. The prices were fair for the quality of food. I will definitely come back when in town.
