Rated Ocha Thai at 4 stars (even) from my initial visit. It was a pleasant, uniquely charming atmosphere in its own way. The service was friendly, and I’d say adequately checked upon to make sure everything was satisfactory. The food; for a first time visit I was surprisingly impressed. It was fresh, flavorful, and enjoyable in comparison to many other sushi/Asian restaurants I’ve been too. They do offer a beer selection in addition to their regular beverage selection which I think pairs great when having sushi. The Thai food? Incredible. The sushi? Incredible. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Stamford. The service is excellent—quick and courteous. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the delivery experience is just as good as dining in. It’s also gluten-free and family-friendly. We're thankful to have discovered this fantastic Thai and sushi fusion spot, where both seafood lovers and non-seafood eaters can enjoy a meal together.
I just deleted my review about the fat salmon because after a few more tries they’ve changed and the sushi was great again. However, the manager/owner told me that the fat is because people like it and she was very rude because of my review. So yesterday was the last time I ate from this place. I worked with customers and that’s not how you talk to them. Never again.
Brought 2 friends here for lunch last week and the food, service, ambiance and fish quality were top notch. We ordered and share the 3-roll lunch special, pad see ew, sashimi plate and papaya salad. All fresh and delicious and it was plenty for the 3 of us. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back to try more of the Thai dishes.

This is the best Thai in Stamford, and their sushi is also of surprisingly good quality, with fresh ingredients and well-made maki rolls. It has become our go-to for takeout, but the restaurant serves very good green tea if you eat in-house. Highly recommend.
I’ve been to many Thai places and very few are great at sushi. I had the best green curry I’ve ever tasted as well as their “amazing” sushi roll. I will definitely return.
This is hands down the best sushi in town! Give it a try—you won’t regret it. I’ve been a regular for years, and they always exceed my expectations.
