The Ochsen restaurant is apparently known for its cordon bleu specialities, so as a cordon bleu lover I had to try it out. The cordon bleu filled with Gruyere cheese is, for me personally, the ideal choice for a cordon bleu in terms of the cheese. The cordon bleu was wonderfully crispy and the filling was perfectly balanced. Of particular note were the various mixed salads, each served with a different sauce. The service was particularly quick and extremely friendly, I can say the same about the chef. I look forward to visiting the ox again on my next stay in the Walenstadt region.
