Went here today for a quick lunch with my son today, I ordered us both the soup of the day which was vegetable along with wheaten bread. The waitress brought my sons down first and I started to fed him it, she then brought mine to the table and placed it across from me as I was feeding my son his. I pulled mine across the table to eat to be met with a horrible sour smell, bearing in mind I had been feeding my 3 year old this, the soup smelt really sour so obviously was not fresh. With my stomach actually turning at this point I just took my son and left , the waitress must of smelt the soup on the way to the table and it should never of been served. Really shameful to give this out for anyon...
My wife and I have had our break here a couple of times over the last month. I can confirm that social distancing and other relevant arrangements are in place. There is a good menu which should suit all tates. There is also flexibility in being able to choose the make-up of you Fry for example. My wife had the French toast which she said was lovely. For myself, I had a variation of the Fry which was excellent, I particularily liked the sausages. The meal for 2 which included coffee and tea was little over £10, so excellent value for money. Only recret is that I wont be able to visit for at least the next 4 weeks!
The food at this restaurant is excellent, with all dishes made fresh and served piping hot. For just £16.95, you can enjoy a delicious three-course meal, making it great value for money. The best part is that they allow you to bring your own bottle with no corkage fee. The chef and staff are friendly and welcoming, always willing to accommodate any requests. I can't wait to come back next week to try some of G's homemade treats.
Had 8 members here once again for breakfast excellent food.All the bread is homemade soda pancakes and the scones are fab especially the Mars& apple.Also had a slice of homemade sticky ginger cake out standing.Great value for money.Will be back next week

The food at this restaurant is always amazing. My poached egg was cooked perfectly, and the staff were so kind and friendly. I can't wait to see what they have prepared for my tea party on Saturday.
This restaurant lacks any kind of warmth, creativity, or flavor. I will not be returning. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it! You could definitely do a better job cooking at home.
Nice inside with big windows to watch the world go by. We ordered to regular fries and 2 soft drinks. it was £11.70 which is a good price for breakfast. Food was 3.5/4 out of 5.
We ordered a toastie which was under cooked and two sausages for a toddler which were completely raw in the middle. Service was terrible, coffee was cold. Wouldn’t be back!

Dropped in for a coffee and cake... coffee was excellent and the scones were fresh and extremely tasty. Well worth a visit!
Friendly p,ace for a bite to eat. Whether breakfast or lunch well worth a visit. Great variety of food.
