Ohhh…So Yummy Cafe

Strange that people put up with the attitude of the owner. Food pretty good but nothing can make up for rude treatment. We were chastized for sitting too long (even though we left about 5 minutes after geting the bill as we saw they were filling up) - not a polite 'do you mind moving to the back or it is getting busy could you vacate your table' but instead as we were paying, he said angrily 'now look what youve done - people are waiting 'and went on to tell us how thoughtless we were. I won't go on but suffice it to say we will never be back!

A small place in Qualicum Beach, with great food freshly cooked when ordered. Owner is from South Africa and has real scence of humor. They have daily specials, plus their standard menu. The staff very friendly and met your needs. Prices are mid range and you get or value. We had a lovely lunch with our friends who had never been there before and throughly enjoyed their meal and expressed their praise to the owner.

Lunching thereon a drab weather day certainly lifted our spirits, withit's colourful and cheerful ambiance. The food was excellent and healthy.The only small criticism was that we did feel a little rushed, as it is a popular lunch venue, and being a small restaurant with limited seatingwe felt obliged to leave almost as soon as we'd taken our last sip of coffee.

Had breakfast and coffee here and was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the very personable staff, the coffee, and the meals. Everyone was very friendly, including the patrons, and it felt like the kind of place where you wouldn't feel uncomfortable coming in alone and eating. We will definitely be back.
