I had the sad experience of arranging my deceased father funeral and chose this as a venue for drinks to celebrate his memory. what an amazing job of lee, phil and his fantastic team, I can not praise high enough, over and above in any look, excellent greetings, service and eating. these far outweigh all expectations I had in every sight, this is a team of absolute superstars that deeply care for the customer experience and it made a sad day a happy for all. Thanks lee and the team and sophie stimson they have helped me arrange the day, a hard task and the help and support will never be forgotten by me, my wife and family. my sincere and warmer thanks to you all. childcare russ hardy
Kids fish fingers and chips meal was OK, but the tomato pasta was ridiculous! Tiny portion of undercooked pasta with some cheap sauce spooned on top. Fish and chips...wasn't great, oil needs changing for sure! Went with the chocolate fudge cake and ice cream for dessert...it states its moist, no it's dry and you need the ice cream to help you swallow it. Nice pub but the cooks need to go back to cullenary school! The bar and waiting staff were lovely and helpful.
we went to a wednedsay that is advertised as a curry day. so the curry came into a metal bowl was almost a suppe. when it tilts onto the plate, it is very flooded by the sides. pamper the rice and the chutney by being so wet and casual. was not very hot (in the temperature) told 3 server that asked if everything was in order. I'm sorry, which is not really enough.
