Over all i rate this resturant a 3.Location is good plenty of parking. This was my first time eating at OLG so i was excited. Upon walking in the place looks great but on the day we went Aug 26th the AC was not working. They had ceiling fans but it was still hot. It was over 100 degrees outside so that played a big part. People was at the bar having a good time an they had some good music playing. The service was slow an our waitress was not the best. She checked on us once an the other times we had to call for her. The food was on point, and the staff was very friendly and made good suggestions. They did not disappoint. I had Savanah as my host, very professional. The wings I had were very flavorful. The cocktail was just right, right, and the deep-fried deviled eggs had the right texture. My wife is not big on food, but this time, she finished the salmon offering they had is highly recommended. The music and the atmosphere were nice, I really relaxed while eating and enjoyed myself. Also, do not let me get startes on the cornbread, ita next level. OLG does hit the spot, and I would recommend it to all food lovers alike.
Food was real good. Lamb chops were a little salty for my liking but paired with the sweet potato souffle..could do no wrong. Mac n cheese was the perfect balance. And those fried green tomatos hit the spot. I really enjoyed my meal.Our server was amazing and very friendly. Good atmosphere although my personal opinion was that the furniture (tables chairs) were a little outdated and maybe even a little clinicial. For a spot serving soul food I would have anticipated a more comfy welcoming feel but thats just personal opinion.I would easily go again to try something new..good food..good brunch spot.
The greeting staff were busy. Once we were acknowledged, we were seated. Our waitress took a minute to acknowledge us as well. I was starting to get irritated. The waitress warmed up, and things improved. She recommended a Hennessey peach lemon drop that was deeelicious. Once the food arrived, it looked great. The only reason I'm not giving the highest rating is because it was warm. No complaints on the taste of the food. Once I finished my drink, a DJ arrived. He was on point. Although I think I was seated too close to where he set up, I appreciated the vibe.
The lambchops tasted like they were on a Gas Grill. They had to make them over 3 times because they did not understand med rare! when they brought them out the 1st time, they were nice and big. But because I asked them to make them correctly, they brought me out some skippy thin lamb chops. I was very disappointed. The only thing I enjoyed was my Long Island Ice Tea that I went to the bar while waiting, and my sons fried chicken. I will not be back. Waist of money if you looking for juicy lamb chops!
I came from the DC area to come try OLG a few weeks ago with a friend. Let me just say that they didn’t disappoint! My server’s name was Sade I believe and she was great! The fried chicken was so moist and flavorful and the collard greens were some of the best I have ever had! The Mac and cheese was also really good, I just wish that one came out a little more warmer. This is true comfort food, and I will be coming back when I visit Atlanta again!
The food was amazing. There service was impeccable. Didn't know gratuity was included. We tiped. Our waitress told us that the gratuity was included. We told her to keep it. I love honesty people. Definitely recommend this place. We were on vacation from Saint Louis. My fiance wanted to stop on our drive to Orlando. Was not disappointed.Food: 5/5
The staff were very friendly. Our waitress made sure to check in on us frequently. Now I will say a couple ppl left their table b/c service was a little slow... but when I tell you it was well worth the wait. Our food was Amazing.. I mean it touched my spirit.
