An interesting place. Location is very good for the Fife coast. Lots of golf courses all around including one between the hotel and the beach. Which is very easy to get to from the hotel. minutes to St Andrews and close to other old fishing villages. Great views from our room across the Firth of Forth with a lot going on. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast and we had dinner on Sunday evening which was very good. I would have liked a little bit of a bigger choice for breakfast, maybe kippers? But what there was was very nicely cooked and presented. Staff were excellent overall, reception and restaurant in particular. Room was very pleasant, big enough with a large bathroom. Mention...
We had a fantastic stay at the hotel and all staff so friendly and welcoming. Food was brilliant. We had dinner and breakfast for days. It was also, a special birthday of mine and the chef made a lovely happy birthday plate with chocolates which was a lovely surprise to. Our room had a great view of golf course and The Forth. However, no glasses or water provided, a bath mat would have been good but wasn't provided also, for a hotel the tiles in bathroom should have been touched up as with the bedroom carpet needs updating. The rest of hotel was nice but looking a bit tired for a establishment. Unless some improvements were made to bring hotel up to a standard not sure if we would return or...
Went in with my wife while out for a drive and looking to have a nice lunch out. Was shown seat in Conservatory with gorgeous view over the Forth Estuary. Unfortunately, that’s were the positives stop. The table was stained with coffee and tea stains and was sticky to an extent that the laminated menu stuck to the table as well. Checked other tables and the same, sticky and stained. If that’s front of house didn’t wish to attempt anything out of sight so walked out. What’s wrong with table clothe if tables that bad but is not a good advert for somewhere with potential.
We had high tea, and it was very good indeed. Fish and chips accompanied by coffee and toast, followed by scones with cream and jam, and a plate of cakes. Absolutely delicious! Lovely views from the restaurant across the Firth of Forth; pleasant atmosphere, and very friendly and attentive service. As my granny used to say: my, that was a proper treat

Absolutely fabulous place overlooking the estuary and golf links. Room's are awesome the food is awesome the staff are amazing, it's just a great place to stay. It's a lovely location with great walks and awesome fishing villages along the coastal route just a few miles away loved every minute of our stay.
3 adults had the steak pie, beautifully cooked soft meat and huge portions of veg and pastry. Kids portions also huge but not sure about the quality of the nuggets
Tried so hard to see a dinner menu as the Kingswood has declined in my estimation as far as choice goes. However nothing to be found for the old manor. Poor!!!
The afternoon tea was excellent, everything very fresh and tasty, with sandwiches, sausage rolls, a variety of cakes and pastries, and generous amounts!

Payed more for being diabetic for less food. Stated artisan bread on the menu. It wasn’t. Payed £20 for a basic meal.
Very nice hotel... very nice... comfortable beds... sensational food... nice friendly people....
