I have been back to this restaurant twice since it's been taken over by new management. And it has been WONDERFUL both visits. We had some quick appetizers on our first visit back, in case the food had lost its quality, but shockingly the food was delicious. The potato skins were creamy and melty with tons of cheese and the fried calamari was delicious. Our second visit back we got the same wonderful waitress we had previously and I got the clam chowder and a Caesar salad. The chowder was excellent and the Caesar salad was great too. (It appeared dry at first but the dressing was on there). The atmosphere of the restaurant is way different than I remember when I worked there 13-14 years ago,...
Saw the olde hitching post on TV about ten years ago, wanted to give them a try... I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was AMAZING, the service was just as good, the waitress was polite, funny, and attentive. Went for the Easter brunch. Excellent. You could not ask for any better food or service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Check out the Sunday brunch. You will not be disappointed. Parking: Plenty of area to park in Kid-friendliness: We had our three grandchildren with us and the server was great towards them
My cozy, go to spot for comfort food but it's ALWAYS the baked mac n cheese.Seriously folks, I never get mac n cheese at restaurants except for here. One of the waitresses even suggested I add bacon and peas. I'll never go back to plain mac! ;

A peaceful and soothing pub. The food was excellent. I ordered wings while my husband had a chicken salad on a croissant. This will definitely become one of our go-to places.
The food was outstanding, and we received excellent service. The honey butter paired wonderfully with the fresh rolls as well. This restaurant never lets us down.
