Love this classic dinner and its wonderful servers and kitchen crew. The renovated decor is very modern but lacks warmth. Still, the food is the highlight here and its why we keep coming back. This time I chose something completely out of character, the General Tso's chicken. It was good but I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting the usual Chinese takeout experience. In the future, I'll stick to diner classics like all-day breakfast, which Olga's does best, and get my Chinese fix elsewhere. I went in there alone! Had the least amount of check ins with my meals compared to other customers. Also was not checked if I was ready to go while others left. Totally forgotten and watching the people clean as I got myself up to checkout. Then I was asked out loud if I would like to leave a tip. Rather that be between me and God. This is too old school. The cashier man repeats out loud it’s a $21 dollar total for a 10% tip. Yes correct sir that’s what I want. Unprofessional push of a question that was already asked once out loud ?
My Salmon over spinach was really good. My husband got the crab cake special that they fried for him at his request. He said the cakes were really good but the tartar sauce was too thin and too much mayonnaise. His stewed tomatoes were too sweet. Specials come with pudding for desert. I am not a fan of pudding. It would be nice if they offered fruit or ice cream also. Waiter John was very attentive.We will go back again. Overall a good experience
I'm a regular here and I have nothing but good things to say. The food is always amazing here. Whether its soup, salad, a sandwich or some dessert, its always delicious. The service here is top notch. They're always nice there and are very outgoing and are ready to help in any way. The atmosphere is calm. There's always music playing and there are atmospheric lights on the celling. All in all, GO THERE! ITS AMAZING!!!
