I loved it! Out for a morning ride to drop something off with my wife looking for a place to get breakfast. Through a dart on Google maps for 694 Rice St area. Oliver's showed up so we tried it out. Different delicious breakfast menu. She had Shakshuka which was a pepper tomatoe sauce over poached eggs. Fantastic artisan toast also. Very tasty. I had Chicken Biscuits. Wow! Don't let the chicken thigh discourage you. Big and meaty. Their country gravy is meaty also so tasty. Two poached eggs also that are done perfect. We went for the first time yesterday. Service was great! We had a reservation as it was busy weekday lunch time. Booth was very roomy and comfortable. 2 adults and 1 kid orders burgers. The Oliver and the BBQ burger were absolutely amazing and so were the fries. However, the kids burger was nasty, my son wouldnt eat it. It was clearly a frozen patty .. very disappointed about that. We would have asked for a 'real ' plain burger had we known. The only saving grace was he loved the fries. I knock it down to 3 stars for food because of this.Kid-friendliness: Stay away from the kids menu, nothing but frozen food.
Wow, what a gem! Went today for the first time and was very impressed. Having been in a service industry in my working life, I pay special attention to the wait staff. The Hostess was attentive and check backed to make sure we were being taken care of. The Bar tender/waiter was excellent. My hat's off to receiving the level I would expect from a High-End Restaurant at this affordable mid range restaurant. We both had the house specialty, the All Day Pot-roast. Not only will I order it again, but I will be back with my wife.
A friend took me to Oliver?s shortly after they opened. I have been recommending it and taking people there ever since!! It?s probably time I finally write a great review!! We love the food, the decor, the experience, the drinks the service and ambiance! Try the Avocado Toast. It?s my favorite, but I love lots of things! Hope you give it a try. It?s hard to notice from the road but once you go, you?ll want to go back.

My family and I LOVE Oliver's. I don't know why it's taken me so long to review this place. We've probably eaten here six times, maybe more. The avocado toast is amazing and not at all stereotypical. The pancakes, eggs Benedict, and Oliver Sunrise breakfast are also very good. Hollandaise here is ?, and they serve arugula on the side for the Benedict ?. Coffee flavor is also good. ? I highly recommend this place.
I visited on a Wednesday evening and look forward to visiting again. The ambiance is really nice at the restaurant. There was plenty of seating of many types (tables, bars, booths, large group tables, etc. . Parking was very convenient in their adjacent parking lot. I got the shrimp and grits and it was a little too oily for my taste, but good enough for me to want to go back and try something else on the menu.
We had a great experience my fried chicken sandwich was crispy and well made, and the old fashioned was top tier. We would recommend the corn dip app! Our server was very accommodating of our young child and checked in with us multiple times. Parking is a bit limited though. Great dinner spot!
Delicious lunch choices. I hate to admit I ordered a chicken sandwich, very unusual for me. But, it was delicious! The spice was perfect, the bun to meat ratio was spot on. A very generous lunch portion I couldn’t finish.
