Olive's at Newstead Hotel

I have always had the ability to book and I recommend it though they always seem to make it look easy so try if not. The food is great, good quality and comes out quick. The chips and salad sides are great, as are there mains. It's a great pub feed... Steak, pizza, army, fish. Check the specials and they often have daily deals. There pizza can also be takeaway and they are great and a good deal for two with tasty flavours. The staff are always friendly and professional and the place is always clean.

I have eaten here before and food was nice so I took friends who have flown into town to visit. And our food was small potions and one was half cooked. For a serve one would expect better effort it was public holiday Christmas...Tuesday. So maybe relief staff to what we were use to. But was very disappointing and upsetting as we told our friends was a nice place to eat

Last night, our party of 9 enjoyed absolutely beautiful meals at the restaurant. The service was impeccable and the overall dining experience was fantastic. I personally had the lamb backstrap, which was to die for.

Excellent House Made scallop mornay pie. Just the trick for Easter ! Fresh seafood filling , tasty flavours and perfect crust. Well done. I'd include a photo but i ate it before i could get to that ! Réservez une table maintenant

I had lunch at this restaurant today and the meal was fantastic. The portion size was good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great experience!

Great kids menu for $12. My steak was juicy and cooked exactly as I asked. The green peppercorn sauce was hot and plentiful. Will make Olives my new local
