Come eat with the dogs is not a hyperbole, unfortunately. The owner allows dogs inside the café, which is why I don't see myself coming there to eat. We tried it a few of times (before it became the dog central): the owner, an older lady, kept talking about her designing a menu; then asked what we would like to eat, she could cook anything; it's beyond unprofessional. The food was average; cooking eggs isn't that hard but what we got was not particularly appetizing. I can make a way better breakfast at home. And I am not coming for a chat, just for the food and a fresh newspaper (which is no longer available). So, if I want a breakfast or lunch in Paradise Point, I go elsewhere.
This little gem has only been open a few months. There is plenty of parking and signage to take you to the cafe. Inside we were pleasantly greeted and hosted. A very homely feel with modern décor. The menu caters for all from coffee and...cake, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Our meals were served in good time and very tasty. Finally a place that has Chips' as an accompaniment not overwhelming the dish. Not sure what the secret ingredient in the salad dressing was but it was very nice. Definitely worth calling in again. Prices were good lunch special on a par with other restaurants in the Village.
We recently had the good fortune to discover the Cafe on Sovereign, a little gem almost hidden away at the entrance to the Sovereign Islands at Paradise Point, on the Gold Coast. We initially went for lunch, as their lunch special had caught our eye as we drove over the bridge one day to tour the island. I had an open faced sandwich, and my wife enjoyed a burger, both of which were home made and delicious. A few days later we met a friend there for breakfast, and again delighted in the good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Worth checking out.

Intrigued by their lunch special, we stopped by for a meal while touring the island. I had an open-faced sandwich and my wife had a homemade burger, both of which were delicious. A few days later, we returned for breakfast with a friend and once again enjoyed the good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.

I have been to this place about half a dozen times and I cannot recommend it enough! The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is classy yet relaxed. Lamb shanks are always a hit with me but I will...be slowly working my way through the entire menu! It's new so still a bit quiet, but this sort of establishment should soon be recognised as a true gem. It's well worth the trip over the bridge. If you are local it's a no brainer. Will be going back.

We have had a delightful lunch at this restaurant on multiple occasions. The food is delicious, the ambiance is charming and tropical, and the service made us feel very welcome. They offer a wide variety of dishes, all of which are beautifully presented. On Sovereign is now one of our top restaurants in the Gold Coast.
We loved our breakfast here and loved the relaxed atmosphere. Close to home and has a great selection of cakes to choose from. The only problem here is that now it opens at which is well after our walk so we have to go...some else for coffee breakfast, but if you are a late riser and enjoy a brunch. Can recommend

The choice of dishes is large and all meals are beautifully presented.On Sovereign is now one of our favourite restaurants on the Gold Coast.
