since I moved to newfoundland, I had a chance, george st. 8 or 9 times thanks to a beautiful holiday of work to visit. the martini bar is a great place to go. the cocktails are ineffective the blueberry cocktail is a standout. Regular drinks are quite affordable, and they have a mix of typical club tunes and live music. the live bands are still ineffective, and I still had no bad experience here. it is usually not packed too, and even if it does, it is not too bad.
The first time my husband and I went to this bar, we ended up leaving because we didn’t get served. However, we decided to try again and I asked for a Mango Martini that was on their menu. It was absolutely the worst martini I have ever had. It tasted like over sweetened mango juice without any alcohol at all. I had about 2 sips and we left. Sadly, I will not be recommending this bar to anyone.
Best place to ruin your weekend vibe!!! Charged for cover and waited for 30 mins to get the ordered place. Left the place without being served. Didn't knew they collect charity in form of cover charge. Wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.
great atmosphere and mix of people. beautiful to have live music, even tho it was not our favorite music style today, we have seen some amazing groups before. I love this place. Réservez une table maintenant
I thought her terrace was nice, good seating and live music. only ordered drinks and was about average for george street. no real atmosphere compared to the Irish pubs .
this place was good earlier. prices are far too high to justify more. no patrons on a Friday night speaks to themselves
A nice atmosphere with some fun music. The martinis are expensive, but the mixed drinks are reasonably priced.
Service was very slow. There was a cat on the patio that kept jumping on tables . Food was ok but expensive. Réservez une table maintenant
We came on a Tuesday night, and it was pretty packed around like 9 - 10 and then died out a bit after that.
