Fun atmosphere and the bartenders were great and tried to be really accommodating! At 9:45 security came and took the barstools from us which I’ve never experienced before and I’ve gone to a fair share of bars/ pubs. Unfortunate experience as there were no tables available and we wanted to order food. We ended up leaving and coming back afterwards. Can’t say enough great things about the bartenders but to take seats away from potentially paying customers is a strange business practice in my opinion.
I like to go to otr for a night or karaoke. Today was the first time I ever made lunch. it will be the last. I had a beef dip with fries and it was probably the oiliest food I've ever eaten. I pushed my sandwich to get rid of the fat. the pommes were about two minutes under. all in all I'm glad I waited so long to eat. I'm staying with salsa nights.
on the rocks is a great atmosphere, but they push too many people in there, we can not even move, so we had to go because we couldn't even get a table to sit down that and they couldn't even move it, wall-to-wall people didn't stop a good experience so many people put at the place and it would be much better
I always have a great time here! abbey is phenomenal and has made our experience exceptional! the crabproof is the money so worth, and these Korean tacos and nachos were the best I had in one

my favorite bar in yeg. so funny. great mood. good music, however; 4 stars because the woman who collects the money at the door is rude, every single time.
I have been to OTR many timesI usually come for their Thursdays salsa lessonsI ordered their chicken club house sandwich with house salad.
I waited 20 minutes at the bar to order 2 waters. I had $5 in my hand. I guess that wasn't enough money, so I didn't give any tip.
Nothing beats Thursday's at On the Rocks if you like to dance Salsa (and Bachata, there seems to be a lot of Bachata lately lol).

Food is Great!! Dancing is decent. I'm just not a huge fan of heavy rock lol and that was the band music playing that night!
I've eaten here a few times mainly due to coupons I had where the food was free or half off.
