My husband and I came here on Halloween night for our fifth year anniversary dinner date. We were super excited but left disenchanted by the end of the night. From the start things felt a bit off when we entered when I was greeted by the host with a “kitchen is closing at 7:30pm tonight”. I appreciate the statement but as a customer it’s not very welcoming when you enter in and are following what the website and menu states that your kitchen closes a hour before restaurant close. It makes your customers feel rushed out the gate. We made reservations for 7pm. It’s just a bit odd to change up rules at random. When we placed our order the server was a bit sassy with us when I asked for a sauce...
Service was okay, I have a feeling they didn’t make us a top priority table as we “look” young. The wine selection was nice. The Nashville hot chicken sliders were good but the chicken tacos and bbq chicken pizza were mediocre and overpriced. Glad we tried it but I’m not sure we’ll be rushing back. I have eaten at this restaurant over 10 times and the food has always been great. The service has always been perfect as well. However, this time, the service from the waitress was so bad that it ruined the overall experience. It was the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant.
My first visit and I fell in love with the place. Our server was a hoot. We tried several dishes and shared a bottle of cab, everything was so delicious.
