Understated oddity below an old man's boozer in a side street. But as your dear mother said, don't judge a book by its cover. The space is the remnants of a beer garden, partly covered with glass, some just a pergola overhead. It's leafy and green in a maiden hair fern kind of way.<br/ <br/ Waitstaff are the real deal very experienced Italian blokes. Safe hands, very familiar with the menu, cooking methods and the VERY extensive Italian wine list. Authentic.<br/ <br/ We start with heirloom tomato salad with buffalo mozzarella curd. Utterly exquisite. Then the rigatoni with salsicce. Delicious.<br/ <br/ Then we share mains of fillet steak with verdant purée, whilst the barramundi was plump, c...
