The customer service at this restaurant is nonexistent. While the food isn't bad, it used to be my go-to lunch spot on my days off every other week. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I visited today to order takeout and was asked to leave because I had my dog with me; they didn't even bother to ask if he was a service animal, which he is. It's not surprising that this place has poor reviews; they clearly don't know what they're doing.
I visited Ono Hawaiian BBQ for the first time and was delighted by the delicious food. I tried the Hawaiian BBQ Mix, which had generous portions. The food was well-seasoned and expertly grilled, and the rice was excellent—moist with the perfect stickiness. I also liked the hearty serving of cooked cabbage. My only recommendation would be to enhance the flavor of the macaroni salad a bit. Overall, I would definitely return. Food: 5/5
Ono Hawaiian BBQ has good, tasty food.I had the Aloha Special, $6! It came with 3 nice pieces of Whiting Fish, rice, and a salad with delicious sesame ginger dressing, an order of Barbeque Beef that came with good Macaroni Salad and a vegetable medley of nicely seasoned cabbage, broccoli, and carrots, and an order of good Crab Rangoon appetizers 6 pieces.I have returned to Ono Hawaiian BBQ twice since this review. ??!

I arrived at 8:55 PM and was told the restaurant was closed, despite their website stating they close at 9 PM and their open sign being on. They should update their hours if they don’t plan to serve customers until closing time. It was frustrating to be turned away before closing. Food rating: 3/5.
Hawaiian cuisine never fails to impress. I ordered the number 1 plate, and the teriyaki chicken was tender and flavorful. The overall experience met my expectations. The servers were friendly, but the tables could have been cleaner, as they were sticky.
The staff here is very friendly, and the food is great! I always order the short ribs along with a side of shrimp. They don't offer the traditional cocktail sauce, but that's not an issue for me. As for parking, we've never had trouble finding a spot.
I ordered the chicken katsu and every single piece of chicken was not fully cooked through. Every piece was bright pink! I will never be eating here again. I can understand one piece getting missed accidentally but every single piece was not cooked.

I hadn’t been to Ono Hawaiian BBQ in years, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. The menu offers a great variety, and the food definitely deserves a 5/5.
