For an internationally branded hotel the Courtyard Marriott delivered a totally unsatisfactory breakfast experience.The only positive point to my breakfast was the staff who were attentive and pleasant.Everything else was substandard. The buffet was mediocre in presentation and choice. The actual food was forgettable and the range on offer, limited. The layout and decor of the restaurant was uninspiring and tired.And the worst is to come. It is very expensive for what you receive. My suggestion is to not have breakfast at this hotel. It was my last night in Sydney and we stayed at the courtyard and ate at this restaurant. They said they have the best ribeye in town. I was about to order it until I saw the curry chicken at the table next to me so I ordered that. The flavor was so good and even though I wouldn't normally like curry chicken it looked so good and it tasted very good. It was seasoned just right and it came with rice. The prices was affordable (even though everything in Australia is overly expensive). I would recommend eating here and next time I will definitely try the ribeye.
$30 for breakfast buffet? $12 for egg of toast? $4 for coffee? Who comes up with these prices? I guess they figure due to the hotels poor location and limited food choices they have you over a barrel. So feel they can soak their customers and provide slow service.I didn't feel like paying $30 for breakfast so chose the egg on toast for $12 and the coffee for $4. I don't know what breakfast could have been faster to prepare. Maybe cereal but it took them 25 minutes to prepare my egg/toast
I recently enjoyed a lovely meal at Orchards Restaurant in the Courtyard Marriot in West Ryde.Sydney.Nice surrounding, nice waitress. Our meal was delcious.We both had the slow cooked Beef Cheeks with a dark gravy, melt in your mouth stuff.. It came with a creamy Mash Potato, cooked onion, nice mushroom and chunky flavoursome carrots. Decent servings as well..Would eat there again for sure.. 9/10

I've eaten at this hotel many times. The buffet breakfast is good. Good selection of cereals, bakery and cooked items. The chef will cook an omelette to your liking. Breakfast time is always very busy with a lot of business people.Lunches are decent. When holding a function at the hotel, the buffet lunch is supurb!Staff are pleasant and helpful.
This is the restaurant of Courtyard Mariott hotel North Ryde and it does not have good restaurants in the vicinity owing to which i had no choice...the whisky they served was with small broken pieces of ice and when i complained i was told thats the ice we have....never again will i dine here or drink here. Very poor service
I had room service for dinner. Ordered a burger and chips. Very large burger and would have been very nice had it been hot, I would of settled for warm even. Very disappointing and was not prepared to complain as I waited 50 minutes for it.
This restaurant offers a "must have" buffet breakfast if you are staying around this area. It's not just the wide range of food choices but the food is tasty too. Friendly helpful staff also make your meal more pleasant.

The restaurant has been revamped and presentation appealing upon arriving. The staff are knowledgeable regarding the menu and work closely with the chef for any questions you may have.
First impression of menu was that there were v limited gluten free options. The restaurant was poorly lit, especially in the coffee table area
