I searched high and low throughout Canberra for a place that served a good omelette, and I didn’t realize that this hidden gem was exactly what I needed! Not only did they prepare one of the best omelettes I’ve ever tasted—truly unmatched—but their sauces were smooth and irresistible! Their fried rice is so delicious that it can elevate any meal to a feast. I’ve ordered from them when hosting guests, and everyone has always been satisfied. I can’t recommend them enough; they’re one of the few places in Canberra that I keep returning to time and time again.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The overall presentation of the dishes was lacking. The roasted rice was subpar—my husband even thought it was boiled rice. We won’t be returning. The sauce for the steak was watery, and the fried mushroom shell was filled with overly sweet snow pea snap and cheaper substitutes like carrots and celery. There were very few mushrooms and greens in the dish. I paid a good amount for this meal, and it did not meet my expectations at all.
painful eating and service the ambiente is from a small caffe. eating is standard, not delicious at all. infact one of the worst food I've ever had. we ordered narsi goreng, chilli basil prawns and chilli beef. narsi goreng had hardly a huh in it, chilli basil prawns was a dish of wobbles with some prawns and chili basilikum for garnish, beef was dry and tasteless. the personal is unfriendly and unwilling. Don't think it's important to them. never visit them again.
$81 was wasted. the glands were all very dirty, crispy chillie bark tasted like burned sugar. large special roasted rice had 1 tiny garnel, all had black burned spots and black bits all burned through the rice, tasted burned, I knew it would melt like the car burned as burned sugar after the house drive after picking. Mongolian lamb had hardly tasted and had a very strange smell. better to buy maccas

The worst Asian food we’ve ever had. The Mongolian beef contained only about five small pieces of meat, with the rest being watery vegetables. The honey chicken was incredibly greasy, and the thick, doughy exterior was not fresh at all. We were very unimpressed.
Our local Malay/Chinese. The Char kway Teow is fantastic, the Beef Rendang is AMAZING and we have never had a bad meal in the whole year we've been eating there. Friendly and obliging.
Everything was as I hoped. The curry puff, beef rendang, and duck laksa were all excellent. The pastry of the curry puff was layered and crisp, though a bit oily.
A great long established and dependable local Asian Restaurant. Fast courteous service and consistently appetising and tasty food that meets our expectations.
