Visited for Sunday brunch around 1pm. The patio was packed with all outdoor tables taken, but we didn’t have to wait long before a table became available. I noticed some dogs calmly resting while their owners enjoyed their food. The service was attentive, and our server quickly provided all the condiments we asked for. The buckwheat pancakes were tasty, and the eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, complementing the apple sausage and hash browns nicely. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
The Original Pancake House offers enormous portions that never fail to impress! I absolutely love this restaurant. It’s a truly special place for my family and will always have a special spot in my heart. I’m already looking forward to our next visit when we’re back in town. Thank you to the amazing cooks and servers for their exceptional service and outstanding food quality. The menu is fantastic and has something for everyone!
I was most impressed by the menu and the options of pancakes! I had the coconut palms (and fruity topping) and they were delicious! Plan to take the remains home. They served 5 big pancakes! Also the eggs and ash-browns had and shared both dishes with a friend. You had a nice drink menu. The icy Chai was a perfect touch. We sat in the back terrace under a umbrella. Look forward to my hubs and children again here!
Huge portions, oh my!! I love this place. It is a very special place for our family. It will always hold a special place in my heart. We look forward to our next visit when we are in town. I've been visiting this restaurant for years, traveling all the way from San Francisco. I want to give a shoutout to the chef and the owners for their excellent flavors, generous portions, and outstanding service.
The Dutch baby is wonderfully rich. The fresh fruit cream tastes just as expected, and the ingredients blend perfectly. Tip: Try adding some of the sweet crepe jam to the Dutch baby for an extra treat.
Excellent food and service. They offer some gluten-free options on request, although not on the menu. Fresh berry waffle was generous and delicious.
If I lived in Los Altos, I would certainly be a frequent visitor. The food is excellent and the staff is wonderful! Réservez une table maintenant
