Not finding many bars in the town for my beer crawl I got desperate and ventured into OscarOne, a hip looking Lounge, CockTail and Wine Bar. I say desperate as these are really not establishments I feel comfortable in! I'm not hip or cool enough for these kind of places, I'm an ordinary fella who has simple pleasures......football and beer, not really into strobe lighting, fancy cocktails and showing off my new designer gear, if I had any! The bar opened in April 2015, in February the owners were interviewed in a local newspaper article where they stated that their target group is a sophisticated audience. Further mentioning that they are focused on achieving an upscale standard where people can feel comfortable. So when visiting this bar for the first time my expectations were high and I was really disappointed. It started with the menu which was handed to me by the waiter; it was not only stained with drinks it was torn so badly that it was nearly in two pieces. My best friend is an habitue and for me was the first time visting the nice city of Aarau. we went late for a drink. I consider this a cool place with a pleasant and elegant atmosphere, cocktails are delicious, Rouge Tonic especially recommended. The staff is professional. I recommend this place.
This morning I ordered some for breakfast a delicious and I chose Oscarone and since it was raining we decided to stay inside. Wow so nice this place. Super elegant and the staff so welcoming and friendly. The food was good and the Latte macchiato with soft foam...delicious.

With my husband I discovered this bar in the center of the lovely Aarau: Oscarone. Elegant but cozy location inside. We sit outside because it was a great day of sun. We had fresh bread with marmalade and gipfeli Croissant a delicious cappuccino. The staff was really kind.
Not bad. I was surprised that they were working with gloves and clean tweezers. They also use metal strips. CONGRATS. On the other hand, my opinion is that should definitely be much faster and put some decent music.
Awesome ; super Cocktails in this lovely bar. Nice service, casual people, great ambience! A spotlight for Aarau!
Music isn't too loud like in other places here and the staff is friendly.
