The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. The portion sizes were generous yet just right. The schnitzel I ordered was absolutely delicious, with sautéed onions, peppers, and mushrooms in a perfect amount of sriracha sauce that enhanced the flavors rather than overpowering them. The schnitzel itself was breaded and fried to perfection, creating a wonderful texture and taste. It was served alongside almond green beans and angel hair pasta, making for a satisfying dining experience. Overall, a highly recommended meal.
We had a fantastic meal at Osman's last night. Everything was very good. We had escargot and brie for appetizers. Fork tender veal marsala. A huge, tender Jägerschnitzel. And what I thought was the best dish, perfectly cooked lamb chops with shrimp and a gorgonzola cream sauce added on top. It was so good! I want that sauce again! Osman's is my favorite restaurant, easily the best in Mobile. When you walk in, you feel you are entering a small place in Europe. The ambiance is lovely. I love the feeling it gives. And the food is really good and amazingly consistent. My wife and I have eaten at Osman's consistently for many years, and every meal has been wonderful. My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Osman?s last night and everything was amazing! From the attentive staff and welcoming atmosphere to the delicious food, this will definitely be our top go-to date night spot! We had the gorgonzola shrimp, chicken parm, filet with gorgonzola sauce, and the german chocolate cake. Definitely call beforehand for a reservation, you won?t regret it! Went to dinner last night at Osman?s for the first time. We shared the eggplant Parmesan appetizer. This is not usually a favorite but then I wished I had this as an entree. It was perfect! Then they served a warm roll with house made herb butter. I really could have eaten the butter on my fingers. So good! Had a salad with homemade blue cheese dressing. Very good.
The German dishes come in hearty portions that are quite satisfying. The Southern dishes, on the other hand, offer more standard sized but delicious servings. The Wiener Schnitzel I ordered was excellent, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her red fish. We even had leftovers from the schnitzel that lasted us for three days.
My first experience at Osmans with friends was memorial and understand why this restaurant is a favorite of so many for so long. 5 lamb chops grilled medium rare to perfection and Jägerschnitzelthe size of Texas! We enjoyed diner with a salad and bottle of wine. Great info on website about owners.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Mobile. Osman and his wife, Micki are culinary trained chefs from Bosnia. The food, atmosphere and service is always incredible.
