Absolutely fantastic and filling food! I had never tried Osmow 's before and I kept seeing it in various areas of the GTA, so I happened to be in the area for this location a few days ago and thought I 'd give it a shot and I was really happy I did. I tried the Beef on Rocks and it was absolutely delicious in my opinion. The portion size was more than reasonable at first when I got it I thought there 's no way I 'm going to be able to finish this, its too much , and it was loaded with the beef which I was really happy about. I've read many reviews, so my expectations were low. I had the reg size chicken wrap with saj bread. It came to $11.65. It was surprisingly large and nearly 12 inches long when I was only expecting 8 inches. That's where the good news ends. The chicken did not taste seasoned at all. Shawarma has that unique savoury taste. No hummus or tahini? The vegetables were very cold. I guess that means freshness. It was placed in the grill but didn't taste hot at all and nor crispy. I visited Osmow's Shawarma during National Shawarma Day, and despite waiting in line for an hour, the experience was well worth it. I ordered the $5 Chicken on the Rocks and a $5 wrap. The flavor and quality of the food made the wait worthwhile. The chicken was delicious, and the wrap was a great value for the price. I was craving the real Osmow’s but ruined it with the that dried chicken and that ketchup which they provide for my fries. I never had this bad shawarma in any Osmow’s. Inconsistent portion. Some days it's okay, some days you get half portions.Today I picked up food, went back to work, opened the container and drove straight back and got a refund. Ridiculously small portion. You would expect that when you're paying $14 just for a bowl, with no drink and side, that you wouldn't get a half portion. Completely ridiculous.The single employee on shift at 3 pm Thursday Oct 19 was also rude and didn't really care about her job.
This restaurant experience was truly awful. I had ordered a supersized chicken shawarma wrap with mild spice, but instead I received a regular sized wrap with no chicken and an excessive amount of spice. They gave me the complete opposite of what I had asked for and still charged me the price of the supersized wrap.
I ordered combo shawarma wraps through Uber Eats and received cold food with missing fries. The wraps had a lack of salt and the bread was smashed. The restaurant's attempt to make up for it by saying "Wishing to see us again" doesn't work, as this wasn't the first time I've had a negative experience.
