First, we went to stand in line where we had a million menu items to choose from in just a couple of minutes, and to not hold up the line or block traffic in the front. I ordered the feta spinach quiche and it was soggy. My fiancé got the steak and eggs which included less than 2 oz of steak for a nearly $20 meal. The latte tasted like soap. The potatoes were under-seasoned and not crispy. Usually I wouldn’t mind getting my own drink and clearing my table, but it felt like insult to injury that we had such a poor experience for $50 and then had to service ourselves too.
This was so different from the one in Vinton. It was line service to order, then they brought it to your table. I had to let people go in front of me so I had time to review the menu and had my husband grab us a table and text me his order to ensure we didn't lose seating. However, the food was really good. My scrambled eggs were really fluffy. My bacon was crispy. I think there was something wrong with the air conditioner though, it was a little stuffy. Overall, still a good experience.
Usually this is a good place I have ordered twice in the past 2 weeks and both were very disappointed..last week I did not get what I ordered and my poached eggs were hard as a rock today i got a bacon strata platter. With no bechamel sauce so it was a dried up casserole. Both order were to go ...I order from there at least 3 time a month and usually the food is good .not sure what the problem is now . Will be awhile before I go back too expensive to be bad
This was one of the best breakfasts of my life! The hash-browns were perfect! That almost never happens. The corned beef was tender and delicious. The pastries were out of this world. I wish I lived in Roanoke so I could come there over and over! Réservez une table maintenant
