I have never been disappointed by a meal at this restaurant. I've visited numerous times, and almost every time, including my most recent visit, the service from order to table is impressively quick. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and they offer a variety of hot teas for those like me who enjoy a warm cup at any time, as well as freshly baked desserts. Absolutely delightful! The MJ sandwich is fantastic and a definite standout, especially when paired with the fried green tomatoes. I highly recommend the pasta salad as a side. Additionally, they offer enormous cream puffs that are simply heavenly! If cream puffs aren’t your thing, the peanut butter bar is also a great option for those with a sweet tooth, and the portion sizes for the bars are quite generous. Overall, it’s a charming spot with a lovely atmosphere and consistently excellent food.
Roanoke’s Hidden Gem Cafe Was looking for a new place to work remotely today for lunch and found Wildflour. Surprised I hadn’t tried this one yet. They were fairly busy when I arrived around lunch time so I decided to order to go and sit outside the cafe in the mall’s top floor. WiFi, great service by the hostess (delivered my meal out to me), and I cannot express how good the tomato cheddar soup was! A must try if you’re looking for a quaint little cafe with a nice dinner selection as well.
Went for a cafe cobb salad today. The chicken was not cooked completely. There was pink in a couple of pieces. I showed this to the cashier which then showed it to the cook. She only charged me for half and offered me a box. I did not eat any of the salad because after seeing the chicken I did not feel like it was safe to eat so why would I need a box? She did offer me a dessert, but I really just wanted a good salad and don't eat dessert. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Réservez une table maintenant
It had been too long since I ate here, so I just peeked in to see the goody counter, asked about the soup and had to try it! Very welcoming environment, the H&C coffee- mmm, aromatic and fresh! The black mushroom soup had just the right spice, not overpowering and their take on the fried green tomato sandwich is a real twist from the norm. Thank you, kindly for my delicious impromptu lunch!
Fantastic experience! The food was perfect today. I got their smoked Ruben sandwich (corned beef made in house if I remember correctly) with a side house salad. The Sweet Sour Ginger dressing was plate lickin' good. Luckily I didn't have to because I used my Ruben sandwich to mop up the rest. Best Ruben I have had in a very long time (and I eat a lot of them). Highly recommend.
Amazing service. Mary was very sweet and knowledgeable. The chicken chili and the Tomato soup was phenomenal. So tasty. The Santa Fe Burger and Wildflower club was absolutely deplorable. Spit out both after the first bite. Removed both from bill. Do not understand what happened? This use to be so good.
I visited for a Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. I can honestly say it's one of the rare occasions where I left a brunch feeling satisfied before I even finished my meal. I did end up grabbing a couple of brownies to take home, though! Réservez une table maintenant
