great, no nonsense, old-fashioned fish and chip shop. good quality and generous portion. I had the small cod, chips and side(mushy peas) in box, the £6.70 the size was as big as I could and there were no waste. not the fastest service and the personal could have been more cheerful, but hey, we all have days how to judge that for me. Anyway, I give it 5 stars because it was delicious(nice quality cod,) very hot, well presented and the spatial features were very clean and tidy.
We chose to dine at this restaurant after a long day, but it ended up being our first and last visit. The fries were tough (likely due to using low-quality carrots instead of frying them properly) and the fish was small, dry, and chewy. We ordered two fish and chips, two curry sauces, and a side of mushy peas, all for just under £19.
they get exactly what they pay (to the best way possible)! somehow this place can't blame. crispy fishbatter, large portion sizes for the price, the cod and chips were so delicious. I'm here a few times with my man and it literally takes 50 minutes to get there, but it's worth the trip we're going to go there tonight!
