Initially, we really loved this place. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The service started off wonderfully, but everything changed at the end when it was time to pay. After settling our bill and leaving a tip that we felt was appropriate, our server chased us out of the restaurant, insisting that our tip was too small and demanding that we give him more. We didn’t feel that we were fully served by him in the first place, and tips are meant to be discretionary. We gave what we could, only to be confronted by staff about the amount. This behavior completely ruined our experience, especially since we were visiting from out of state. Because of this, I will definitely n...

Nice place that looks like an ice cream soda place. Good food. Friendly service. Nice to go here for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Closes at 2pm. Vegetarian options: All the breakfast food eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, bagels, fruit Parking: Parking in front Quarter timed parking meters on Hempstead Avenue in front or park on the street Acorn Road by houses. There are some meters and some free residential parking in front of houses.Free Parking Lot across the street down by the movie theater. Kid friendliness: The place is colorful. It has ice cream soda chairs inside and tables are outside. Nicely decorated. They have ice cream here and they sell candy there by their mini gift shop area....

Cute old town spot serving up classic diner food in a cozy environment. While pretty unassuming from the street, as soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a very cute pink and mint green decor, that feels right out of the past. There’s tables, small booths, and stools at the counter, and the staff is super welcoming and friendly. The food is what you would expect from classic diner fare, the breakfast being extra oily but solid. There are lots of options for full meals, down to even 8ish types of toast.Definitely worth a visit for the vibes and clsssic feel!

I ordered the skirt steak pesto eggs with marble rye toast, and it was absolutely delicious! To complete my meal, I had a little orange juice and peppermint tea. I was so hungry that I forgot to take any pictures of the food! I highly recommend this charming diner and will definitely be returning. #LocalGem #theresthatfoodie Réservez une table maintenant

You should definitely try the sausage gravy on biscuits; it’s incredibly delicious! Also, the corned beef hash is the best you'll ever have.

It was such a cute cafe. Reminded me of an old-time lumcheonette. The pancakes were delicious. Will definitely go back. Réservez une table maintenant
