This is my first time to tried Outback Steakhouse after I have heard about them for a long time. Luckily, this location is near my home, it is located at Aspen Manor Shopping Center, in Silver Spring, MD. The restaurant is huge, clean and new. Dinning room is nice atmosphere and staffs were nice. Convenient parking. I ordered their signature dish Bloomin'Onion for appetizer and steak combo Sirloin (8oz medium) Alice Springs Chicken. Overall, the food was just about right. Steak tastes fine but the texture was a little bit hard to chew. I ordered for a special occasion and was slightly disappointed. The food was generally good; the coconut shrimp and salmon were delicious. The sirloin was a bit tough but flavorful. The sauce and shrimp that came with the salmon were tasty, but a warning about the spiciness would have been nice. The salmon was supposed to come with two sides, but we only received one - the sweet potato, which was very tasty. We did not receive the seasonal vegetables. The sirloin also came with two sides - a tasty Caesar salad and a baked potato, but it did not come with any of the selected toppings.
Our server, Evan, was very nice, capable, and friendly. The food, baked potato with lobster tails, potato soup, and mac and cheese were all cold. There was a smell of urine in the area we were sitting in. Overall, I had no high expectations going in,so I was not disappointed Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
It has its pros and cons;Pros: drinks are really good and servers are usually nice, the food when it arrives hot and fresh is tasty.Cons: Depending on the server, they forget about you and your food comes cold. Curbside orders suck, it’s like they just microwave it and send it out.

It's been a while since I last tried the ribs at this restaurant. They were significantly improved from my previous experience. The meat was incredibly tender and just fell off the bones. My only complaint is that I wish they had a bit more BBQ sauce.

I absolutely loved everything. My favorite dish has to be the coconut shrimp - absolutely delicious! So tasty!
