Be sure to try the steamed or braised whole fish, pork kidney with scallions, stir-fried eel, and the delightful osmanthus and sesame-flavored sticky rice balls for dessert. The cleanliness rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars. The restroom is located behind the kitchen, in a compact area that can be a bit cramped for more than two people at a time. Overall, it’s a worthwhile experience at a reasonable price.
July 4th was a quiet dining day, and unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. The soup we ordered was quite salty, and the sweet rice dessert was undercooked, leaving the rice hard. The person who recommended this restaurant to us apologized for our experience. We won't be returning.
This restaurant provides excellent service and serves delicious food. It's one of my all-time favorites. The meals and drinks were served promptly, and the prices were quite reasonable. I will certainly recommend this place!
This is a spot full of locals who have been coming here for years. It's not the most exciting menu in some ways, and the service in our case was really slow. But regulars FILL the place up. And the food was great!! Réservez une table maintenant
The Shanghainese food here is truly authentic and very enjoyable. We loved everything we tried. The service was quick, and despite being a small, unassuming spot, it became quite busy very quickly.
I dined at this restaurant nine years ago, and I'm delighted to be back. The experience is truly authentic, and I highly recommend it!
The lunch special is quite disappointing—it's a very small plate with a tiny portion. It might be better suited as a kid's meal!
