Outriders Cookhouse

We went to outriders for a quick meal. Ordered the chicken burger and breaded fish burger which were both the specials. Both items were poor quality processed frozen items which they simply deep fried and stuck in a regular hamburger bun. I had a baked potato which was OK while my husband had the rice which he said was flavorless. We complained about the quality of the food and were told all they could do was give us a free dessert on our next visit. Since there will be no next visit, we asked if there was anything else they could do. We were told that was all they would do.

Who would expect a restaurant with a cowboy theme on PEI? We tried Outriders for dinner. Our wait staff was very helpful and friendly. We also found the menu complete with some good home cooked food. We stuck to bar food and were pleased. From the certificates on the wall, this restaurant is an active member of the community and supports many causes - that wouldn't make up for bad food, but it made us feel we made the right choice. One caution: the bar is not well stocked so if you are in the mood for a cocktail, forget it.

I visited the nearby auto repair shop and for the first time, dropped in to get a quick lunch on the way home. Ordered a hot hamburger sandwich. It the hamburger sandwich, some fries and a few slices of carrots and expensive. I should have went to Sam's. The same thing there is much better (better taste IMO, more fries, 3 vegetables and a large helping of coleslaw at a little over 1/2 the cost. Service was, however, good and friendly as is Sam's.

This is the place to stop on your way into Charlottetown or your way back out! Excellent food that's always very consistent and the service is second to none! visited on Sunday for Brunch and it was the first time i have had breakfast there and it was as good as any where in Charlottown if not better! Staying near the airport we asked our taxi driver to recommend somewhere not too far away.The Cookhouse is a local pub serving a good of range of beers and basic food, so not fancy.We enjoyed our beers and our steak and scallop combo was both delicious and reasonably priced.

Stopped in for Saturday morning -breakfast and we had the feeling the place needed some TLC. Did not feel clean or well cared for. The food was good but could not get past the cleanliness. Not a place we will return to unless we here of renovations or improvements.

We (three adults and one child) went here for lunch. The food was tasty, fresh and good value. The staff was friendly, the place clean. It is located in a commercial area with some car dealerships around - not really where I would expect a restaurant/bar like this.

Great food. I had the lasagna. I have never had lasagna as good as this, including my own. It is made from scratch and is full of meat . Very large portion, served with ceasar salad and garlic bread. Unbelievably delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Worth the visit for the bread pudding which is exceptional. Served with plenty of sauce. Other food is average. Good service.

If you want to feel at home and appreciated to being there this is the place to go! Great service Awesome food
