I have eaten twice in two weeks. the first meal was on a Friday at midday, and I ordered chicken parmigiana it was excellent and although a generous size it was so good I had eaten all the way! our customers on the table all. to their meals, the barramundi, the lammschaft and the scotch filet. we visited again on Monday, and both my man and I had the chicken and lauchcake it was excellent! the service is always friendly, the meals were served on time. my only little grip is that I would like to see a sharing plate or tapas for the women who do not wish to be a meal. but very recommend to eat there, or just a drink. while both were busy, we visited here with our young children. We visited the restaurant without a reservation on a very cold Saturday night. As there was no seating available inside we chose to sit in the outdoor area which was partially warmed by heaters. Avoid this as it's too cold for a relaxing meal. The...service was attentive, quick and friendly. However the food was patchy. Out of 3 main meals. 2 i.e steak and steak burger) were cold, poorly cooked and not worth the money. However they cooked a surprisingly tender and tasty lamb shoulder with chargrilled eggplant and other caramelised vegetables. I came here last night with the woman for dinner and we enjoyed both our meal very much. I ordered the chicken parma that actually came with mortadella instead of ham, which was really a very nice change! my wife had the wobbly soup she likes too, and we both absolutely loved the garlic bread and I must say that the sticky date pudding is a must try! the servings are large and the staff was great. Although, as a reviewer said below, it was very cold that the building has high ceilings, concrete walls and wooden floor panels, so it can be hard to keep it warm without too splashy. can definitely recommend if they hunt some big pub grub.

the oxford is the place where you can be on Thursday night, as every week another curry is lovingly prepared by the employees and presented to them within minutes after the order. In addition to these Thursday nights you will see a cheap happy night of the beer and apple wine for only $8 per pint! the curry is served in a beautiful container over steaming fresh rice for only $7,50 and is well portioned, but a bowl chips along the side makes a decent meal if you really hungry. Please note that the curry and pint are only available at the bar in the adjacent pub, so they come down and try it yourself!
