The absolute best sushi and sushimi restaurant on the peninsula. I moved to Mt Eliza in 2008 and I’ve never had the best sushimi until I found this place. When I get an order it’s full of 6 Or 7 different kind of raw fish. I’ve never had such variety. So fresh and perfect. And the service staff are kind and helpful. I think it’s a family. Well done

this is a fantastic restaurant with excellent eating in a low key, cozy environment. the sushi and sashimi are top notch, and the chef, oyama san, never compromise on the quality of the fish and dishes he serves. this is one of the best japaners in melbourne and certainly the best on the morning half island. highly recommended!

I highly recommend this restaurant for some of the best, freshest sushi and traditional Japanese dishes prepared by Chef Oyama. The food is traditional, top quality, and absolutely delicious. It feels like a little taste of Japanese hospitality in a casual, unassuming setting.

The service at this restaurant was a bit slow and the staff appeared confused at times. However, the food was exceptional - fresh, tasty, and high-quality. The restaurant also had an authentic Japanese atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the sushi boats, they were amazing. Réservez une table maintenant

We are thrilled to have discovered this restaurant. The Japanese cuisine is fresh and authentic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.

large small local Japanese restaurant I get in the rule with the autobahn, as there are only a few tables for eating in authentic fresh japaner it is a local favorite for years

Delicious traditional Japanese, we had the sushi/sushimi boat, gyoza and Okonomiyaki. Everything was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Can't wait to come back.

Always great food from Yasuo-san Chako-san. Quite possibly the best sashimi in Melbourne. Well worth the drive.
